6 on Health: A campaign to save babies
A new campaign to save the lives of babies is being embraced by hospitals all across the country.
Child health education specialists say babies should sleep on their backs in a crib with a swaddling sleep sack.
They warn that loose blankets, pillows and toys can be hazardous to sleeping infants.
Putting your baby in a sleep sack will keep them cozy and warm while eliminating the risk of suffocation, health care education specialist say.
Since the campaign for sleep sacks started across the country, the amount of sleep-related deaths in infants has declined significantly.
