6 on Health: CDC reports flu season has peaked
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says flu season has peaked.
On Friday, the CDC released its weekly data on influenza activity across the United States.
According to the agency, 32 states reported high levels of flu activity for the week ending Feb. 24.
And, nine states reported low or minimal flu-like illness for that same week.
The total number of children who have died due to influenza since October is 114 children.
