Officer involved shooting in Beaumont
BEAUMONT - Beaumont police are on the scene of an officer involved shooting. It happened at 6:10a.m. Friday morning in the 3200 block of 10th St.
Police say an officer shot a 25 year old man. A dispatcher with the Fire Deparment tells KFDM the man was transported to the hospital as a trauma alert patient with a wound to his torso.
It has not been determined why the officer shot the man.
