KFDM/KBTV has obtained a probable cause affidavit indicating Catherine Dungan was seen entering a silver 2005 Ford Focus the day she was found dead and partially nude with her hands tied behind her back at Collier's Ferry Park.

Video surveillance from the Calder Food Mart -- about four miles away from the park -- shows Dungan getting into the vehicle, which Beaumont police investigators traced back to the mother of a man charged in Dungan's June 24 death.

An employee at another convenience store -- the Valero gas station at 310 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway -- told investigators she saw Dungan get into the same vehicle occupied by a man matching the suspect's description.

Brandon Coleman, 26, was arrested Wednesday for capital murder. He is at the Jefferson County jail on a $1 million bond.

A probable cause affidavit implicates Coleman as the last person to see Dungan before her death.

Dungan's preliminary autopsy shows she died as a result of "manual asphyxiation," or strangulation.
