Brothers charged with attempted murder after Richard Spencer speech born in Beaumont
Three Texas men, including two brothers from Southeast Texas, are behind bars in Gainesville, Florida for a shooting involving protesters at the University of Florida on Thursday.
William Fears and Colton Fears, both born in Beaumont, and Tyler Tenbrink all face attempted homicide charges, WEARTV.com reported.
According to Gainesville police, a group of protesters and the three suspects got into a heated argument at the white supremacist Richard Spencer's speech.
That's when witnesses say Tenbrink pulled out a gun, according to police.
Police say Tenbrink shot at the group, missed and drove off.
They were caught a short time later.
The Fear brothers are being held on bonds of $1 million.
Tenbrink's bond is $3 million.
