North End Beaumont shooting injures one man

The Beaumont Police Department is investigating a shooting in the North End of Beaumont, that left one man with a gunshot wound.

Officers responded to that shooting early Friday morning.

Investigators say the victim has a non-life threatening injury.

Marcus Adams, a witness, says a group of men entered his home while he was having a get-together for a friend's birthday.

Adams says he thought the intruders were joking, then one of them shot his friend in the leg.

Adams says the shooters also aimed at his car, leaving a bullet hole.

Investigators say those involved are not cooperating with the investigation.
