Port Arthur family remembering teen who died at McFaddin Beach

Photos of 19-year-old Justin Guillory are being displayed outside of his childhood home. With family and friends walking in and out trying to figure out funeral arraignments.

"He couldn't go nowhere and not meet a friend that was our Justin our heart." says Justin's aunt Jennifer Rodgers. "It's a shock and a surprise he will be truly missed and he was truly loved."

Justin Guillory died at Saint Mary's Hospital after a fatal accident at McFaddin beach in Jefferson county Saturday. Troopers say he was standing on the running board of an SUV when he fell along McFaddin beach. Rodgers says his bright spirit and dare devil personality will be missed.

"If we all had a problem with each other Justin brought us back he was our glue he kept us together I can say that," she says.

Justin's mother Amber Granger wants other parents to hear her story and cherish the moments she will never get back with her son. She has this message for anyone willing to listen.

"I look down the street waiting for him to come around the corner or jump from the side of the house going and it’s not going to happen," Granger says. "To take more precautions because there are consequences for all your actions."

She says her last moments with her son in the hospital were ones she will never forget and she's hoping no one will have to experience a similar situation.

"I couldn't even clean his face and that's the moms instant to clean their face keep their kid clean you know even if he’s 19 he’s still your son."
