Port Arthur businesswoman not worried about safety after armed robbery of renter
PORT ARTHUR —
Stella Morrison and Wilma Palermo are not at all worried about their safety after Wednesday's robbery.
Morrison and her husband Kermit have had their law firm in Port Arthur for more than 40 years.
For the last 17, they've rented space to Palermo for her real estate business.
On Wednesday afternoon, only 1 of Palermo's employees was in the office.
That's when Port Arthur police say three armed stormed into the building, struck the victim over the head and stole nearly $2,000 dollars in cash.
Surveillance video shows a white 4-door car driving away from the area, and police are hoping someone will recognize it and help identify the men.
Anyone with information can contact Port Arthur police.
