Thousands gather to get assistance at 'I Love Port Arthur' event
Thousands of Port Arthur residents still in need after Harvey came to Thomas Jefferson Middle School Saturday.

There were volunteers giving prayers, some helping with emotional support, many working at a thrift store and others helping with understanding the rebuilding process.
Mayor Derrick Freeman says events like this should remind Port Arthur that there are plenty of people who care.
