Two more people arrested in connection to armed robbery in Batson

Two more people have been arrested in connection to an armed robbery at a convenience store in Batson in Hardin County.

Two men who, authorities say, held up a Batson gas station leaving bullet holes and fear are behind bars tonight.

Authorities arrested Douglas Martin and Shavonskie Ardoin.

Investigators say they were on the run for about 12 hours after leading police on a chase, then running away on foot.

Investigators say someone called in a tip Wednesday afternoon that lead to their arrests.

They each are being held on a $750,000 bond.

Seventeen-year-old Ashalae Roberts was the first of the three to be arrested.

Investigators say when Martin and Ardoin ran away on foot, they left Roberts in the car.

She is charged with aggravated robbery in the Baton crime and is in the Hardin County Jail on $250,00 bond.
