In this edition of Forever Families, we would like to introduce you to four teenagers from across the state.
They're all sports fans and also have another thing in common -- they all dream of being adopted and becoming part of a loving family.
Meet Lucke, Ramiro Thomas and Augustine.
LUCKE -- Thirteen year old Lucke maybe a little shy at first, but quickly warms up and is witty and funny. She is a friendly child, who is able to engage in conversation easily and enjoys being helpful. She enjoys making friends and is able to interact well with both adults and children. Lucke loves to camp, swim, play kickball, and watch football games. She likes to color and play video games. She would like her own room someday.
RAMIRO -- He is a very active, well mannered, and energetic sixteen year old who really lets you see his great sense of humor after he gets to know you. Ramiro enjoys playing football. He enjoys being around people and likes playing board games with others, and on the topic of sports, Ramiro says "I like football and the Dallas Cowboys is my favorite team".
THOMAS -- He's very bright and active thirteen year old with a variety of interests. He likes video games, hockey, and likes to watch the Black Hawks play. He stated he is a good swimmer and likes swimming. Thomas likes country music and listening to George Strait. Being able to go on outings makes Thomas smile. Thomas likes school and he is very smart, as math is his favorite subject. He also likes seafood. In his own words, Thomas says "I would like a family of my own to go on family outings and to share my interests with".
AUGUSTINE -- At age 14, Augustine is a very well-mannered youth who is very outgoing and energetic. Augustine is always willing to help out and has a positive outlook on life and loves going to football games. Football may be a fun sport, but most of all, he loves basketball. He has said he could play all day long if he was given the chance. Augustine says "I am on the basketball team at my high school and I love it."
