This week's restaurant inspection scores come to us from the Beaumont Health Department.
TIBIDEAUX'S 5555 CALDER/GRADE=82
We begin with Tibideaux's on Calder. Inspector Wilhelm found personal drinks in coolers which is a violation. Food in the cooler should be labeled and dated, items in the walk in cooler must be covered, towels were needed in the bar area and floors under the tables needed to be cleaned. Tibideaux's on Calder gets an 82.
SUPER STOP 15 2675 SOUTH 4TH ST. GRADE=84
Next is Super Stop 15 on South 4th St. Inspector Wilhelm said towels were needed in the rest room, there was raid stored above paper plates and cups, there was mold in the ice machine and the inspector said the mop sink must work at all times. Super Stop 15 on 4th St. Gets a grade 84.
BIG D'S 2050 SOUTH MAJOR DRIVE GRADE=90
Now to Big D's on South Major Drive. Inspector Wilhelm said there were gnats, she ordered monthly pest control. The inspector also said the microwave needed to be cleaned and there was mold in the ice machine. Inspector Wilhelm said the chicken should not have been stored above the potatoes. Big D's on South Major Drive gets a 90.
CAPTAIN RON'S SEAFOOD 6385 CALDER GRADE=93
and finally we check out Captain Ron's Seafood on Calder. Inspector Scott found the cook without a hair restraint, the mop sink was not hooked up. There was a personal drink on the drain board which is a violation. Captain Ron's Seafood on Calder gets a 93.
