This week's restaurant inspection scores come to us from the Beaumont Health Department.
CHINA GARDEN 3871 STAGG/GRADE=86
We begin with China Garden on Stagg. Inspector Scott found several sinks with faucets that needed to be repaired, one drain leaking, one urinal clogged. The inspector said a plumber was needed as soon as possible to correct all of the issues. China Garden on Stagg gets an 86.
SALTGRASS STEAKHOUSE 325 IH 10 NORTH GRADE=90Next is Saltgrass Steakhouse on I-10 North.
Inspector Scott found several towels without sanitizer to kill germs. There was a refrigerator drawer without a thermometer to ensure safe food temperatures. Saltgrass still did well though with a grade of 90.
SARTIN'S WEST 1990 IH-10 SOUTH/GRADE=90
Now to Sartin's West on I-10 South. Inspector Scott found only a few problems, there were several gnats and slight mold in the ice machine. Sartin's earned a good grade though of 90.
TASTE OF CHINA 955 IH 10 SOUTH GRADE=93
Inspector Scott checked out Taste of China on I-10 South. There were mouse droppings in the storage room, floors and shelves were in poor condition and difficult to clean. Taste of China gets a 93.
CHURCH'S CHICKEN 615 WASHINGTON GRADE=91
and finally we check out Church's Chicken on Washington. Inspector Wilhelm found a dead roach in the cooler and a dead fly in the walk in cooler.Thermometers were needed in all coolers and freezers. Church's Chicken on Washington gets a grade of 91.
