PORT ARTHUR - by Scott Lawrence - A man confronted a homeowner and demanded money, then stabbed him several times during a struggle, according to Port Arthur Police.
Investigators say the victim was entering his home in the 700 block of Sabine Avenue at about 5 a.m. Wednesday when a man with a knife walked up and said he wanted money. The homeowner told the attacker he didn't have any money and they began struggling, according to police.
The victim suffered several cuts. Doctors treated him at Christus Hospital St. Mary. Police say his injuries aren't life threatening.
The attacker got into a car and drove away.
