A Southeast Texan who spent much of his life raising money for charity has died after a long illness.
Terry Bourdier served as the Executive Director of the United Way of Beaumont for more than 20 years.
Bourdier was a native of Baton Rouge and a proud graduate of Louisiana State University. He was a high school band director for 14 years and had more than 40 years of experience playing various styles of music.
Bourdier is survived by his wife Karen, 1 daughter and 3 sons.
Broussard's Mortuary is handling arrangements.
Visitation will be Friday from 6pm to 8pm at Triumph Church in Beaumont near Tram Road and Highway 69.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at Triumph Church in Nederland on Highway 69.
