JEFFERSON COUNTY - Testimony is scheduled to begin Tuesday in the capital murder trial of a man charged with killing a young store clerk.
Labyron Warren was 16 at the time of the shooting two years ago. Last year, a judge certified Warren to stand trial as an adult.
He's charged with killing 20-year-old Minh-Dang Nguyen on August 1, 2010.
She was working at Van's Grocery on Avenue A in Beaumont.
Nguyen was attending Lamar University and studying to become a nurse.
A grand jury indicted three other men on capital murder charges in connection with the killing.
The case is scheduled to get underway at nine a.m. Tuesday in Judge John Stevens' court.
