A Buna man is suffering from severe head trauma after a mowing accident at a hunting camp.
Jasper County Sheriff Mitchel Newman tells KFDM the man was mowing around his deer stand when a tree fell, hit the man in the back of the head and pinned him to the steering wheel of the tractor.
Loved ones found the man at about 1 pm, Saturday brought him to meet first responders at the edge of the " Boat Lake Hunting Club" located on County Road 716.A Medical Helicopter then transported the man to Christus Hospital Saint Elizabeth.
The man has severe injuries to his face.
