Watch KFDM News at 6 for more on the story.
On Thursday October 11 at 9 a.m., a woman arrived at her home in the 2400 block of N. 10th St. and noticed a long, dark blue car in her driveway.
She got out of her vehicle and was confronted by a black man, 5`5", 25-30, thin, wearing a green Hawaii type shirt and green pants. He grabbed her and starting to choke her.
The attacker took her phone and started to pull her toward her vehicle. While the first man was attacking the victim, a suspected accomplice in the dark blue car drove away.
The attacker continued to choke the woman and pulled her toward her car when a large company truck drove by. The victim managed to scream and the attacker let go and ran away with her phone.
The men were in the process of burglarizing her home when she interrupted them.
