HOUSTON (AP) -- A grand jury will consider the fatal shooting of a robbery suspect by an armored car guard outside a Houston theater after a co-worker was wounded.
Houston police on Monday said a coroner is working to identify the suspect. No money was taken.
Police say a female guard was shot in the hip during Saturday afternoon's attempted holdup in a theater parking lot. She's expected to recover.
Investigators say the incident began when the male guard was in the armored car and the female guard was confronted and shot while carrying theater cash back to the vehicle. The male courier returned fire and shot the suspect in the chest. The male guard wasn't hurt.
Names of the guards haven't been released.
