NEDERLAND - Funeral arrangements are set for Victor Lovelady, 57, the engineer from Nederland who was killed when terrorists took over the natural gas plant in Algeria where he was working.
Visitation is at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland from 5-8 p.m. Monday.
Lovelady's funeral is Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial is private.
Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland is overseeing the arrangements.
People in Nederland and across Southeast Texas are reaching out to support and help the family.
A fundraiser is scheduled Saturday in the parking lot of the old CVS in the Market Basket shopping center in the 2500 block of Nederland Avenue.
There'll be a link sale and bake sale. Links and drinks are $3. All items have been donated and every dollar raised will go to the Lovelady family.
