They say everything is bigger in Texas, including the opportunities. I've been blessed to be the evening anchor for 6 News on Fox since September 2015.

This is only my 2nd stop in my career. I came from the Columbia, SC CBS-affiliate WLTX, where I was hired in 2012 as a multimedia journalist. Soon after, was able to fill in anchor. Then, I ended up anchoring the weekend evening newscasts. My most memorable moments there was being a part of the team coverage of the Charleston church massacre which led up to the Confederate flag's removal from the State House grounds.

I grew up in and around Orlando, FL. I'm a 2012 graduate of The Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. I majored in Media/Communications Studies and minored in Broadcast Journalism through a co-op program at Florida A&M University. While in school I hosted University Update and Florida Statements on WFSU. During my junior and senior year I was a reporter for "Seminole Sports Magazine, "a show about FSU athletics that aired on Fox Sun Sports.

I owe the majority of my news chops to a National Association of Black Journalists short course at FAMU where I met countless mentors and learned lessons I still use to this day. I'm now an avid supporter and member of the NABJ. I am also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

I enjoy finding new recipes to try out in the kitchen, reading to elementary school children and jamming out to music.
