BEAUMONT - One day after a manhunt for burglary suspects in west Beaumont, police are investigating a shooting in the north end of Beaumont.

Investigators say a 22-year-old Bridge City man is in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.

Someone shot the man at about two this afternoon in north Beaumont.
