Congressman Weber tours district

BEAUMONT - A newly elected congressman got an eyeful Thursday during a tour of the district.

Randy Weber began the day in Sabine Pass and worked his way north. The Republican from District 14 met with community leaders and talked with voters. Among the stops-the Broussard Rice Mill in Beaumont.

The congressman says he wants to make sure voters know they can call his office and talk with his staff about any issue. The economy and jobs are among his priorities.

Congressman Weber is hosting a town hall meeting Thursday night at his office in downtown Beaumont. He wants to hear from voters to learn about their concerns.
