Police search for attackers who shot man four times

BEAUMONT - Beaumont Police are searching for attackers who shot a man four times during a robbery.

According to investigators, shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, May 12, police responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of South 11th Street.

The victim was bleeding from the waist area. Paramedics treated the victim and transported him to Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.

A second man at the scene told officers that two black men had approached them and demanded their wallets. The man told officers one of the attackers took his wallet out of his pocket. His friend resisted and was shot four times.

The two men provided police with descriptions of the attackers:

1. 18-20 years old, Thin, White t-shirt with colored stripes and shorts, armed with a revolver (unknown caliber).

2. 18-20 years old, heavy set, dark shirt.
