Former Orange police officer arrested following investigation

News Release from Orange Police Department:

On Wednesday, June 12, 2013, the Orange Police Department conducted an internal investigation based upon a complaint from a citizen.  The complaint was in reference to an Orange Police Officer, Taylor Scott Saleme.  The complaint involved the theft of prescription medication.  During the course of the investigation on that date, Officer Saleme resigned from the Orange Police Department.
 
On Tuesday, June 25, 2013, Orange Police obtained an arrest warrant for Taylor Saleme, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), a class A misdemeanor.  Saleme was arrested on June 25, 2013 at 2:00PM and booked into the Orange County Jail.  Orange County District Attorney Investigator K. C. Breshears assisted in the investigation.
