LIT hosts orientation for prospective students

Less is more for some students deciding between four years of college or programs that require two years.

Enrollment has grown for the past several years at the Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont.

The school hosted orientation for these prospective students. Organizers explained the benefits of a two year degree.

LIT offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs covering a wide range of career and technical education opportunities. Some of the fields include allied health, business, and the petrochemical and refining industries.

You still have several more chances to check out the Lamar Institute of Technology.

The school is hosting four more orientations June 26th, July 10th, July 23rd and August 12th.
