SETX churches come together to build home for resident

BEAUMONT - A local resident is getting her very own Habitat for Humanity home.   

Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson county kicked off its Eighth Annual Apostles' Build event this weekend.

Ten local churches donated money and turned out to help build a home in the 4400 block of Galveston Street in Beaumont.

The home is for Ashley Campbell and her family. She expressed her gratitude for the workers and the churches.
