Lumberton Little Caesars robbed, two men arrested

LUMBERTON - Two men are in jail, following several robberies in Lumberton Thursday night.

According to Lumberton Police Chief Danny Sullins, a man robbed the Little Caesars Pizza located at 837 North Main Street around 10:18 PM.

A Little Caesars employee told officers that a man wearing a hoodie and a mask pulled out a gun and forced the employee to hand over an undetermined amount of cash.

At the same time, police say another man with a gun robbed a woman in the parking lot.

Lumberton police officers saw a vehicle speeding away and chased it into Beaumont.

Once in Beaumont, police say the man wrecked the vehicle and he and a passenger started running.

Officers caught the driver quickly.

Officers with the Beaumont and Lumberton Police Department used search dogs to canvass the area and short time later found the second man.

Both men were transported to the Hardin County Jail and are facing Aggravated Robbery charges.

Investigators say they are seeking an arrest warrant for a third man with connection to the robberies.
