After a few small showers pushed just north of the lakes, a quiet, but nice rest of the day is expected. Highs today will reach the lower 70's, under partly cloudy skies. Tonight will usher in the mid 50's for lows. Partly cloudy skies are back for Saturday and Easter Sunday, with highs warming to the upper 70's.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office releases information on reported Hamshire Fannett High School list

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office was contacted at about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday by the Hamshire Fannett ISD in reference to a suspicious list that was located at the high school in a locker, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office.

The list contained the names of 12 students that were threatened with harm and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation and began interviewing students form the list, according to the Sheriff's Office.

During the interviews, information was gathered that one of the students on the list had written the "hit list, according to the Sheriff's Office.

A 15 year old female student was transported to the Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center charged with Terroristic Threat, a third degree felony, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The name of the offender will not be released due to her being a juvenile, according to the Sheriff's Office.
