PAPD investigating home invasion

PORT ARTHUR - Port Arthur police are investigating a home invasion.

 

Major Raymond Clark tells KFDM News someone knocked on a man's door at about 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 41 hundred block of Memorial. The homeowner knew the man. As soon as the homeowner opened the door, another man ran inside and robbed him.

 

The attacker had a weapon that looked like a gun. It turned out to be a BB gun. The homeowner wasn't hurt.

 

Port Arthur police took the acquaintance into custody and they're searching for the attacker.
