A cold front will work through the area tonight reinforcing the nice weather we've had lately. Dry northwest flow aloft will continue keeping the area dry for most of the week. Cool at night and mild to warm days are expected. The next upper system will reach the area next weekend.
Three local traffic accidents on Sunday
KFDM News - Emergency workers were at the scene of three wrecks on Sunday.
In Jefferson County, a one car rollover leaves a car upside down and sends a woman and five children to the hospital.
Officials on the scene tell KFDM News the 32-year-old mother of three of the children in the car was traveling at an unsafe speed for the road conditions when she lost control of the vehicle and the car flipped.
The ages of the children were 4 to 13, all six occupants of the car were taken to Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont with non-life-threatening injuries.
In Hardin County, an amazing story of survival after a truck rollover there tonight.
Authorities say the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle on State Highway 326.
The truck flipped five times ejecting the driver into the ditch. The cab of the truck was crushed.
Officials say the 20-year old man is lucky to be alive. He was taken to Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth with relatively minor injuries.
And another wreck in Hardin County on Highway 69 south near Keith Road after one of the cars hydroplaned. Both cars ended up on the feeder road. No injuries were reported in that accident.
