A man is in custody after being accused of impersonating a police officer and raping a woman.
Michael Wayne Carter, 50, is charged with sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping and impersonating a police officer.
Investigators say that on August 9, Carter ordered a woman to get into his car and threatened to arrest her if she didn’t.
He’s now being held on a $100,000 bond.
