PA Transit Department runs Saturday buses today

PORT ARTHUR - By Megan Dillard - If you saw city buses operating in Port Arthur today, it's something you haven't seen in nearly 20 years.
Today the city ran buses to gauge how much interest there might be in bringing back Saturday service.
The Port Arthur Transit Department also explained today was a way to help people get back and forth to the mall for last minute Christmas shopping.
The operations supervisor said people were excited to see buses in operation, and hopefully this will peak enough interest to bring that service back.
Buses ran today from 8:15 in the morning and continues for just a few more minutes. It stops at 6:15.
Coleman explained it would cost more than $1 million annually to restore saturday bus service in Port Arthur.
