South Carolina man volunteers to clean up memorials during shutdown

A South Carolina man --armed with a leaf blower and a push mower-- is taking it upon himself to help keep the National Mall clean during the shutdown.

Chris Cox calls himself the "memorial militia."
 
And he's been hauling away trash, blowing away leaves, and even using a chainsaw to clear branches at memorials along the National Mall.

Cox says he has been asked to stop what he's doing but that he plans to be there as long as the government is shut down.
