Kimberly Dinsdale was driving south in a 2009 Pontiac passenger vehicle at an unsafe speed when she lost control of her vehicle, the news release stated.

The vehicle went off the left side of the road and struck an embankment which caused the vehicle to go airborne and Dinsdale was ejected from the vehicle, the release stated.

She was pronounced dead and as part of the crash investigation troopers collected a blood specimen which will be submitted to a Department of Public Safety lab for analysis, the release stated.

Dinsdale was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, the release stated.

The investigation is ongoing.
