A dry weather pattern will continue for the next few days with below normal temperatures. In fact, scattered frost can be expected Sunday morning over the Lakes Area. A warming trend will begin early next week with a good coverage of showers and thunderstorms by the middle and later part of next week.
Heat advisory for parts of Southeast Texas
SOUTHEAST TEXAS - The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for parts of Southeast Texas where the temperature combined with humidity will make it feel as if it's 105-110 degrees.
The Heat Index will be a few degrees lower in the Golden Triangle.

Temperatures will reach the upper 90's to 100 in Houston from Monday-Thursday.
A Heat Advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday for portions of Harris, Liberty, Chambers and Galveston County.
There is no advisory for Jefferson, Hardin or Orange County, but the Heat Index will exceed 100.
There's a 10 percent chance of rain in our area Monday. It increases to 20 percent Friday and 30 percent Saturday and Sunday.
