Driver found dead in car on I-10

ORANGE COUNTY - The Texas Department of Public Safety has released the name of a man whose body was found in his disabled car on I-10 Sunday. Investigators say he might have suffered a seizure prior to the crash.

 

Deputies discovered the body of Kelvin Gene Blake, 50, of Houston, in his 2002 Chevrolet car at about 4:20 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 10 near FM 1442. 

Troopers say he was driving west on I-10 when the vehicle left the road and came to a stop without hitting any other vehicles or highway structures.

 

Troopers are trying to get more information about what happened. They say he might have suffered a seizure.

 

Justice of the Peace Derry Dunn pronounced Blake dead at the scene./
