Two men arrested in connection to auto burglary

Two Beaumont residents were arrested and charged with burglary of a vehicle and evading arrest Tuesday evening, according to police.

Officers responded to Timberlake Court Apartments, 125 Interstate 10, in reference to a reported auto burglary in progress.

A woman found two people inside her vehicle and confronted them and when officers arrived on the scene they caught to men who were running from the vehicle, police said.

The woman positively identified them and one of the suspects had property from the vehicle, police said.

The two men were identified as 19-year-old Christopher Flanigan and 17-year-old Patrick Galbert, both of Beaumont, police said.
