Vehicle hits LCM school bus

A Little Cypress-Mauriceville school bus was hit by another vehicle at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release from LCM CISD.

Another vehicle as traveling south on Highway 62 and passed a number of cars before stopping behind a Little Cypress-Mauriceville school bus turning left at the Blackshear crossing, the news release stated.

One student was sitting on the right side of the bus at the time and both the student and the driver were uninjured, the news release stated. There were two people in the Ford Mustang that collided with the bus and one was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
