Two separate accidents involving BPD officers

KFDM News has learned that there have been two separate accidents involving two Beaumont police officers.

A Beaumont police officer was traveling west on Calder when a Lincoln was coming out of Jack's Pack-It, according to information provided to KFDM News.

As he tried to cross Calder and get to East Circuit Drive, the driver of the Lincoln collided with the patrol car, according to individuals at the scene.

There were no injuries and the driver of the Lincoln was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way, according to individuals at the scene.

The second accident took place at Washington and 11th Street and the officers in both accidents are unharmed, Officer Carol Riley said.
