Another hot start for the coast and the lakes. With moisture in place, we could see a repeat of the isolated showers and t-storms as we saw yesterday. Highs today will again reach the lower 90's. By Friday and through the weekend, we will see the moisture out and hot temps on the rise. Look for mid and upper 90's by Sunday and Monday.

No one injured in Beaumont structure fire

BEAUMONT - No one was injured in a structure fire that took place at the corner of Howell and Viking in Beaumont on Thursday.

The fire was started by some plumbing work and a spark that went up the wall, according to individuals at the scene.

Several neighbors saw smoke and fire and called 911.

KFDM learned that by the time the fire department arrived, the house was fully involved. 

No one was inside the home at the time of the fire. A couple was in the process of moving out.

The fire is still under investigation.
