Identity of man who died after suffering medical condition and crashing his motorcycle released
The identity of the Port Arthur man who died after suffering a medical condition and crashing his motorcycle has been released by authorities.
Jeremy Partridge, 23, of Port Arthur crashed his bike while riding in the 1000 block of North Levee Road on Pleasure Island, according to Port Arthur police.
He slowed down to make a turn and locked up the motorcycle's brakes, police said. He was thrown from the motorcycle and struck the pavement.
Paramedics flew him to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where he underwent surgery for a head injury. He died after 9 p.m. Sunday.
Partridge was a federal correctional officer.
PORT ARTHUR - Police say a Port Arthur man has died after suffering a medical condition and crashing his motorcycle.
Investigators say emergency workers received a call at 2 p.m. Sunday. They say the man crashed his bike while riding on the North Levee on Pleasure Island.
Paramedics flew him to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where he died after 9 p.m. Sunday.
