UPDATE: A 25-year-old Vidor man has died from injuries sustained in a head-on collision in Tyler County on Monday morning.

Trevor Stephenson Gray was hospitalized in Beaumont with serious injuries sustained from the crash. He died Tuesday morning, DPS confirms.

PREVIOUS: Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash in front of the post office in Fred, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

One of the seriously injured is 25-year-old Trevor Stephenson Gray, of Vidor. Danielle Anders Clark, a 28-year-old from Hemphill, was also seriously injured.

Both of them were taken to St. Elizabeth hospital in Beaumont.

Clark's two children, ages 3 and 9, were also taken to the hospital but did not suffer major injuries. DPS spokeswoman Sgt. Stephanie Davis said the 9-year-old sustained minor injuries. The 3-year-old was properly secured in a car seat and did not have any visible injuries, according to Davis.

The two vehicle crash was reported on FM 92 around 6:45 a.m.

Davis said it happened in front of the post office in Fred.

Preliminary reports indicate that a 2009 Toyota passenger vehicle, driven by Gray, was traveling northbound on FM 92.

Gray crossed the center dividing line and collided head-on with a 2013 Kia passenger vehicle, driven by Clark.

DPS troopers are investigating the crash.
