BEAUMONT — Beaumont police Chief Jim Singletary is speaking out about a breakthrough in the cold case of a teacher who was murdered in 1955.

Authorities arrested Clayton Bernard Foreman in Ohio.

He is charged with the 1995 murder of Mary Catherine Edwards.
