A builder from Pakistan, who has called Southeast Texas home for 20 years, is suing the city of Port Neches.
The federal lawsuit accuses the city, the mayor and the council of racial and religious discrimination after they rejected the builder's plans to construct a three-story apartment complex.
The Port Neches city manger told KFDM News that city officials cannot comment on pending litigation.
However, the builder who is suing the city of Port Neches isn't holding back.
KFDM/Fox 4's Angel San Juan reports that builder is seeking $54 million from the city.
