Call for city of Beaumont leaders to address growing homeless population

There are encampments of tents, sleeping bags and cardboard boxes throughout the city of Beaumont.

These spots house the homeless, but one community advocate says the homeless are now being run off from where they normally congregate -- one location is the overpass at I-10 and MLK.

Eric Ardoin, an advocate for the homeless, is asking city council members to step in and help.

KFDM/Fox 4's Angel San Juan reports there is a call for city leaders to address a growing homeless population.
