Car wash murder update; former teacher still in shock

The investigation at a car wash that left 20-year-old Anthony Green dead, is still ongoing.

The Beaumont Police Department are still looking for information that leads to the arrest of two murder suspects, Desmond Roshond Bennett, 23, and David Bryant Parkerson, 22.

"I'm sure citizens are concerned and so we want to continue to tell them to be vigilant and pay attention to their surroundings pay attention to the news and familiarize yourself with what the suspects look like and if you think you see them out in town to give us a call and let us go check it out," Haley Morrow said, BPD.

Those who knew Green are still in shock over his murder.

"I had never seen him as much as get into a argument with anybody I mean he just had friends everywhere he went and always smiling," Brett Sticker said, Green's former high school teacher.

Crime Stoppers increased the reward to $2,000 for information that lead to the arrest of the two suspects.

Green was shot at a car wash, December 28, 2017. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he died.
