ORANGE — A homicide investigation is underway after police in Orange found a man with a gunshot wound to the head.

Officers responded to a call at about 11 p.m. in the 600 block of Burton Avenue. They discovered John Wolford Flanagan, 33, with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was taken by Acadian Ambulance to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital where he died.

Justice of the Peace Ben Collins Sr. has ordered an autopsy.
