Friends in all places: Harvey victims receive storage sheds

Southeast Texans continue to get back on their feet after Hurricane Harvey.

Many have received the help they're looking for when it comes to storing household possessions.

Crews of five to seven volunteers from Ohio, Michigan, & Indiana have made their way to Beaumont, providing thirty storage sheds across the area.

Volunteers build sheds by hand hoping it can provide some extra space for residents.

Lead Minister of Christ Covenant Church, Chris Beard teamed up with International Disaster Emergency Services (IDES) to bring this project to Beaumont.

Beard and his congregation going through a similar recovery has opened their doors to volunteers providing housing as well.
