"Hit list" left behind by Lumberton High School student
A sophomore at Lumberton High School was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he left what appeared to be a hit list. The student confessed to investigators, showing remorse for his actions
"He's going to pay the price for it. He's locked up right now in juvenile detention for an undetermined amount of time." Lumberton Police Chief Danny Sullins said.
Chief Sullins says this is something that happens, on average, about once a year, and now it's time to send a message.
The student is facing harsh consequences and will remain in custody for the time being.
No one at LHS was harmed.
